ClickView - what is it?
ClickView is an innovative software package for audio visual (video) delivery within schools and institutions. It has been developed to enable storage of videos and DVDs in digital format and has been widely tested in Australian schools in consultation with ICT Coordinators and Librarians. It can use your existing computer network and requires no additional hardware.
It also allows you to:
-have unlimited number of users at the same time
-add digital videos in any format from any producer
-easily install, manage and use, you do not need specialist IT skills.
ClickView - how does it work?
ClickView is made up of three components:
Purchased from ClickView
ClickView Library which allows you to store and manage digital videos, photographs, interactive activities and other media files using your existing school/university network.
ClickView Player allows teachers and students access to ClickView Library videos and media files from any computer within the school/university.
Purchased from VEA Video
CD which is the educational video you have chosen in digital format to be loaded into ClickView.
Use in the Classroom
Educators can build lessons using any type of file - Word, pdf, mpeg, jpeg, Flash, AIF, or WAV, scanned newspaper and magazine articles, spreadsheets etc. It is a simple process to enhance the current use of audio visual material within the classroom.
ClickView is already delivering proven learning benefits to schools across Australia. With a simple click and drag into a lesson folder, educators can combine video with any other media for instance, newspaper articles, photographs, assessment quizzes. Educators can also target students of different abilities in one class as students can view different videos at the same time, at their own pace.

VEA Programs for ClickView - how much do they cost?
VEA programs which are available for ClickView can be purchased for the same price as for VHS or DVD format. Digital programs are supplied on a CD and are easily loaded into your ClickView library.
